Low Noise Amplifier

This refers to an electronic amplifier used to increase/amplify weak signals. Hence, this is located near the detection device and it helps in reducing feedline losses. The noise levels are based on the fundamental limit that can reliably measure. The low noise operational amplifiers are available at NCL and they feature voltage densities under 1nV/rtHz, but the advantage is they yet offer precision, high speed, tiny packages and low power. Low noise is tested and the limits are guaranteed depending on the operating temperature voltage noise range. This is suitable for wideband and low frequency voltage noise, current noise and more.

The key component is an LNA placed on a radio receiver front-end circuit. Using LNA, the noise effect gets reduced with subsequent stages and this is due to the LNA gain. Here the LNA noise is directly injected to the signal received. Thus, it is a must to promote the signal power desired for an LNA while adding distortion and little noise, as possible. This enables signal retrieval in the system in the later stages. However, a good LNA has a low NF and must have compression and large intermodulation point. The others operating include bandwidth, stability, output and input voltage wave ratio and gain flatness. For low noise, in the first stage, the amplifier must have high amplification. In fact, low noise amplifiers are the communication system building blocks. The important four parameters in the LNA design are noise figure, gain, non-linearity and impedance matching. Eventually, the LNA design is based on the S-parameters of a transistor.

 

Broadband Amplifier

Broad band amplifier is an amplifier that will reproduce an array of signals without any major loss throughout the pass band. A broad band amplifier is erected on a TV mast and is designed to amplify VHF and UHF TV signals. It also establishes a low noise figure, but not all broadband amplifiers are wide. USB Synthesised Signal generator

The USB synthesized signal generators cover with low noise a frequency range of 0.5 MHz to 20GHz, fine 100 Hz frequency resolution and fast 100 microsecond switching time. Our NCL generators require no extra DC supply voltage and the advanced features include optional pulse modulation, linear frequency sweeping and external/internal 10MHz reference. The advantage is each device has a USB flash drive, while the non-USB applications, signal generators operate on remote power supply or battery power.

Active Splitter/Combiners
